Common use of Observance of Holidays Clause in Contracts

Observance of Holidays. ‌ A. If any holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as the holiday; if any holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be the day observed as the holiday. Employees who are scheduled to work on a holiday weekend where the facility is closed will observe the holiday on the recognized holiday, as set forth in Section 30.01 above. B.
