Observation Conference. All formal observations shall be preceded by a conference between the evaluator and the teacher in order for the teacher to explain plans and objectives for the work situation to be observed. The pre-observation conference must be completed within 24 hours of the observation or the school day prior to the evaluation in the case of a weekend.

Observation Conference. 1. The pre-observation conference must be completed within 24 hours of the observation or the school day prior to the evaluation in the case of a weekend.
2. A post-observation conference shall be held with-in five (5) school days after each formal observation and shall be used to inform the teacher if observed instructional practices are aligned with the expectations that are identified in the teacher’s professional growth or improvement plan.
3. A teacher may request a formal observation at any time in addition to those required by this procedure.
