OFFICERS AND MEETINGS. Each year, the Board shall elect a Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer, who shall serve for a term of one (1) year, unless removed by majority action of the Board. The aforementioned officers shall be chosen from the members of the Board, and shall be empowered to sign in the name of the Board on all legal documents, including bank deposits and withdrawals. The Board shall meet from time to time as needed, and shall meet at least quarterly, however, additional meetings may be called at any time by action of the Chair or upon the request of three (3) or more members by submitting such request to the Chair in writing. The Board may adopt bylaws, procedural rules and other policies to regulate its affairs not inconsistent with this Agreement. Minutes shall be shall be kept for all meetings in conformity with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.

  • Faculty Meetings Principals shall have the authority to schedule necessary faculty meetings; however, such meetings shall be as brief and well planned as possible.   • Joint Meetings 10.1(a) Should either party desire to discuss with the other any matter affecting generally the relationship of the parties, a meeting of Union and management representatives shall be arranged upon request of either party. Such meeting shall take place at a time mutually convenient to both parties. Any use of Company time for attendance at such meetings shall be arranged in advance by mutual agreement.

  • Staff Meetings Staff meetings, whether in the store or off the premises, shall be considered as time worked and paid for accordingly, except meal meetings at which the attendance is voluntary.
