On-line Training Sample Clauses

On-line Training. Some training may be offered by the Board to bargaining unit employees on-line. Bargaining unit employees who have access to a computer during their regularly scheduled hours shall be permitted time during their normal work hours to complete the on-line training. Bargaining unit employees who do not have access to a computer during their regularly scheduled hours shall be permitted to complete the on-line training during non-working hours and shall receive pay for said training at their regular hourly rate for the amount of time the Board and the Union agree should be paid for said training. The Board shall make computers in District Computer Labs or District Libraries available for use by said bargaining unit employees during their non-working hours.

On-line Training. A. The district may implement an on-line training program that will address safety, worker’s compensation, compliance issues and other training that can be provided more efficiently on-line.

The City will use its best efforts to provide Local 21 represented employees with up to forty (40) hours of paid time off for job-related training and/or professional development, which shall include one day of professional development of an employee’s choice, not to be unreasonably denied. Such time may include departmental-sponsored training and/or professional development; DHR sponsored training and/or professional development; and/or outside training and/or professional development approved by appointing officer or designee.
