Open Access. By choosing open access you are agreeing to publish your thesis or dissertation in Emory’s ETD repository immediately after graduation. This option will provide the broadest possible access to your work. The full-text of your thesis or dissertation and any supplemental files will be accessible on the internet for unlimited viewing. Your thesis or dissertation will be indexed and discoverable via major search engines. ñ OR ò ò ò ò ò ò ò
Open Access. This definition is based on the "Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities" which postulates two necessary criteria:
1. The author(s) and right holder(s) of such [open access] contributions grant(s) to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, right of access to, and a license to copy, use, distribute, transmit and display the work publicly and to make and distribute derivative works, in any digital medium for any responsible purpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship (community standards, will continue to provide the mechanism for enforcement of proper attribution and responsible use of the published work, as they do now), as well as the right to make small numbers of printed copies for their personal use.
2. A complete version of the work and all supplemental materials, including a copy of the permission as stated above, in an appropriate standard electronic format is deposited (and thus published) in at least one online repository using suitable technical standards (such as the Open Archive definitions) that is supported and maintained by an academic institution, scholarly society, government agency, or other well established organization that seeks to enable open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving (s. § 2.3)
Open Access. All Contractor books, records, ledgers, data, and journals relating to the programs under the Contract will be open for inspection and audit by the Department, its designees, or the State of Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau, at any time during normal working hours. A minimum ten (10) business day notice will be provided. Records or data requested shall be provided electronically in a format mutually agreed upon by the Department and Contractor. The Department shall have access to interview any employee and authorized agent of the Contractor involved with the Contract in conjunction with any audit, review, or investigation deemed necessary by the Department or the State.
Open Access. Release the entire Work for worldwide access via the internet on the scheduled indicated in Part A.
Open Access. Should the Author and the Publisher have an Agreement specifying that the Article is an Open Access publication, the rights to the digital version of the Article hereby granted by the Author to the Publisher shall be non-exclusive. The Author retains the non-exclusive right to publish the article in digital form, in full or in part, according to the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND license for free on any open access platform, including a personal homepage, an institutional server, or a subject repository.
Open Access. PhD candidates are strongly encouraged to make published research results available through free electronically available databases, At UiB the database is named Bergen Open Research Archive - BORA, and at [add relevant information for partner institution, if any].

Open Access. Published research results will normally be made available through free electronically available databases. At the Univeristy of Bergen open access to the dissertation will be made available through Bergen Open Research Archive - BORA).9
Open Access. Any publication arising from the Grant Activities and its related data must be made openly accessible as soon as possible but, in any event, no later than six months from the publication date. Where this requirement cannot be met, reasons must be provided in the Annual Report. Metadata for all publications arising from the Grant Activities and its related data must be made available to the public in an institutional repository as soon as possible but no later than three months from the date of publication.
