Open Personnel Files. A teacher's personnel file(s) shall be open to that teacher upon request, with the exception that confidential letters of recommendation shall not be considered for examination. Examination of the personnel file(s) shall take place under the supervision of the Superintendent, Principal, or their designated representative. With the exception of materials used in the initial employment of the teacher, the teacher shall receive a copy of any item placed in the file(s) during the period of employment with the district.
