Other Payroll Deductions and Automatic Monthly Deposits. All employees’ salaries are subject to the following payroll deductions:  Withholding tax;  FICA (OASI);  Dues and representation fees pursuant to Article 3.0 and section 3.7;  Industrial insurance deduction;  State teachers’ retirement system; and  Absences not provided for by leaves, computed at the employee's basic daily rate of pay. And within the capability of the district’s Business Office, deductions authorized by the employee for:  Additional withholding tax;  Medical or dental premiums not paid by the District for plans authorized by section 6.8;  WEA salary insurance;  Tax-sheltered annuities; and  Charitable deductions, such as United Way, with priority given to those that must be deducted from an employee’s pay to qualify for federal tax deductions. The parties will encourage all present employees to participate in electronic transfer of paychecks. Checks shall be automatically deposited by the District in said employee’s bank each month. Employees hired prior to June 1, 1995 who do not participate will be grandfathered. All new employees will be automatically required to enroll in electronic transfer of paychecks.

  • Other Payroll Deductions In addition to the above, the City will deduct from an employee's payroll check, upon authorization by the employee, amounts payable to causes or organizations selected by the Union. At any one time, no more than ten (10) such causes or organizations may be identified by the Union as authorized to benefit from such payroll deductions unless otherwise authorized by the City in its sole discretion. The Union will notify the City of the causes and organizations to be so authorized. Payroll deductions shall be governed by the ability of the City Auditor's payroll system to handle same.

  • Automatic Payroll Deposit All employees covered by this agreement shall participate in the County's automatic payroll deposit program. Participation shall mean the employee's execution of a payroll authorization form and submission of a voided check or savings deposit slip to the Auditor's office. It shall be the employee's choice as to which bank he/she designates as the institution receiving the payroll funds. When the authorization form is properly executed and filed with the Auditor, the County shall automatically deposit in the employee's designated bank account the net amount of pay each designated biweekly payday.

  • PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS AND DUES The following provisions shall apply to employees in classifications listed in the Appendices herein.

  • Payroll Deduction of Fair Share Fee The Board shall deduct from the pay of all employees in the bargaining unit who elect not to become or to remain members of the Association, a Fair Share Fee for the Association’s representation of such non-members during the term of this Agreement.
