Present Employees. Each Professional Employee currently employed by the District is entitled to one higher step on the salary schedule, for each year of continuous teaching experience under contract with the District; provided, however, there was no step increase granted for the 1999-2000 contract year and no step increase granted for the 2010- 2011, the 2011-2012 or the 2013-2014 contract years.
Present Employees. Employees who would be hired on an hourly basis according to this policy, but who are now paid on a biweekly basis, may remain in that status until the termination of their current employment.
Present Employees. The Employer agrees that, in the selection of Deck Officers in the classifications covered by this Agreement, the Employer shall select applicants who are presently employed on the vessels of the Employer, who are on the Master’s seniority list. Such selection shall occur pursuant to the subsections of this Rule.
Present Employees. The Employer agrees that, in the hiring of Deck Officers in the classifications covered by this Agreement, the Employer shall prefer applicants who are presently employed on the vessels of the Employer; and the Union agrees that, in furnishing Deck Officers to the Employer through the facilities of the Union’s employment office, it will recognize such requirements; and when Deck Officers with prior experience are not available, it will endeavor to recruit graduates from Federal or State Marine Training Schools.
Present Employees. It is the Board’s desire to transfer, when practicable, from within its present employee ranks.
Present Employees. All present employees covered by the terms of this Agreement shall, as a condition of continued employment, forthwith become and remain members of the Union.
Present Employees. Upon request by the Federation, the Employer shall furnish to the Federation an alphabetical listing of names, class, salary range, date of hire, appointment date, and home address of the employees in the bargaining unit, limited to twice each fiscal year.
Present Employees. The terms of this Article shall apply to all employees covered by this agreement.
Present Employees. (a) Notice of apprenticeship openings for specific trades will be posted on the Company's Bulletin Boards for a period of five (5) days.
(b) Applications for apprenticeship will be accepted by the Human Resources Department from employees.
(c) Applicants meeting the minimum eligibility requirements as outlined in Article 3 will be turned over to the Joint Apprenticeship Committee for their evaluation.
Present Employees. An employee hired prior to October 1, 2012, shall be eligible, and shall automatically become insured, except as provided in subsection (e) (2) of this Section:
(1) for Group Life, Extra Accident, and Survivor Income Benefit Insurance coverages provided under Article II, on that date or, if later, on the first day of the month next following the month in which employment with the Company commences subsequent to the employee’s most recent date of hire, and
(2) for Sickness and Accident and Extended Disability Benefit Insurance coverages provided under Article II, on that date or, if later, on the first day of the fourth month next following the month in which employment with the Company commences subsequent to the employee’s most recent date of hire.
