Overtime Meal Allowances. ‌ (a) When a team member is required to work in excess of two and one-half hours overtime immediately before or after completion of their scheduled daily hours, they shall be provided with a meal allowance in alignment with the guideline below. • $16 effective upon ratification Team members who have been issued P-cards shall use the P-card for this expense. Team members who have not been issued a P-card or have received the Excluded Manager's prior approval may claim their allowance through the overtime timesheet. A meal break of one-half hour with pay will be given. (b) If the team member continues to work overtime beyond three hours, a further meal or allowance and meal break as above shall be provided upon completion of an additional four hours worked, and upon the completion of every three hours worked thereafter. (c) When a team member is not on standby and is called out for overtime prior to their scheduled shift and it was not possible to give at least one-half hours' notice to permit preparation of the meal normally taken to work, the Company shall provide the meal or pay the overtime meal allowance. (d) In the case of a team member called out on overtime to work on a rest day, (a) and (b) above will apply only to hours worked outside their regular shift times for a normal workday or where it was not possible to give at least one-half hours' notice to permit preparation of the meal normally taken to work. (e) Where any of the meals provided under (a), (b), (c) or (d) above duplicate a meal for which a team member is entitled because of travel status or field status, then the team member shall receive only one benefit for each meal.
