Overtime Pay Calculation. A) Overtime shall be paid at the rate of one and one half (1 ½) times the normal hourly rate for hours worked over eight (8) hours in a day but under twelve (12) hours in a day and for all hours worked over forty (40) hours in a work week. In calculating the overtime for a work week only, the first eight (8) hours in any work day will be counted no matter how many hours the employee works on any work day;
