Common use of Overtime Penalty Rates Clause in Contracts

Overtime Penalty Rates. (a) Hours worked in excess of the ordinary hours on any day or shift prescribed in clause 17 Arrangement of Hours are to be paid as follows: Aged Care 200% 150% for the first two hours and 200% 200% 250% Health Professional, 150% for the first two hours Nursing and Home thereafter and 200% Care thereafter (b) Overtime penalties as prescribed in clauses 24.2(a) and 24.3(a) do not apply to Registered Nurse Levels 4 and 5. (c) Overtime rates under this clause will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift premiums prescribed in Clauses 26 and Clauses 25.
