Common use of Overtime Vacation Rate Clause in Contracts

Overtime Vacation Rate. No employee shall be required to work during their scheduled vacation period. However, should an employee work when requested by the Employer during their scheduled vacation, they shall be compensated by time off at one and one half (1 ½) the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate of pay plus one vacation lieu day off for each day in which work was performed.
