Packing, Handling, Transportation and Couriers. 4.1. The packaging, transport and, where applicable, customs formalities for the outward and return journeys shall be organized and insured by the Borrower through a specialized company, authorized to transport Artworks. As far as possible the Lender looks favorably on options which may reduce the Borrower's costs, provided these do not compromise the safety of Artwork(s). 4.2. Pocking and handling must be supervised at all times by the courier accompanying the Artwork(s). Only qualified members of the Borrower's or of the shipping firms's staff may unpack, repack and handle the Artwork(s). Crates and packing materials shall be provided by the shipping firm and their costs shall be borne by the Borrower. Artwork(s) packed in climate-controlled crates must be stored for acclimatization for at least 24 hours before opening. Empty crates shall be stored in a secure climate and temperature controlled indoor storage area, protected from moisture, pollution, fungus and vermin. For acclimatization they should be delivered to the galleries 24 hours before re-packing begins. If possible the same packaging must be reused for the return of the Artwork(s) on loan. If not the same materials are used, the Borrower will bear the costs of fresh supplies of materials such as acid free tissue, polythene and bubble wrap to replace any materials damaged during unpacking. Framed objects may not be unframed, removed from mounts or protective devices, cleaned or altered in any way without prior written consent by the Lender.

Packing, Handling, Transportation and Couriers. 4.1. Specially trained personnel of the Lender, Borrower or shipping firm shall transport and package the Artwork. The packaging, transport and return of the Artwork shall be organ ized by the Borrower. 4.2. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, packing and handling shall be supervised at all times by the courier accompanying the Artwork. Unpacking, repacking and handling of the Artwork shall be approved by the Lender and max only be executed by personnel approved by the Lender. Crates and packing materials shall be provided by the shipping firm and their costs shall be borne by the Borrower. The Borrower shall be responsible for the proper storage of crates and packaging materials during the loan period. Artwork packed in climate-controlled crates must be stored for acclimatization for at least 24 hours before the opening of the crate.   • Transportation Transportation expenses include, but are not limited to, airplane, train, bus, taxi fares, rental cars, parking, mileage reimbursement, and tolls that are reasonably and necessarily incurred as a result of conducting State business. Each State agency shall determine the necessity for travel, and the mode of travel to be reimbursed.

  • Transportation Reimbursement Employees who, during the course of their normal duties, are required to actually transport clients/consumers/felons in their own personal vehicle on a regular basis, are eligible for reimbursement for the cost of an automobile rider to their existing insurance policy. To be eligible for the reimbursement, the employee must demonstrate the following: 1. That he/she is normally required to transport clients/consumers/felons in the course of their duties. 2. That there is no access to or available State vehicles. 3. That public transportation cannot be used. 4. That their insurance company requires a special rider on their existing automobile policy. 5. Proof that such a rider has been purchased. 6. Proof of a valid driver’s license and insurance policy. By receiving such reimbursement, employees acknowledge that they may be required to use their own personal vehicle to transport clients/consumers/felons in the normal course of their duties. The reimbursement to such employee(s) is the actual cost of the rider not to exceed seventy-five dollars ($75) per year whichever is less. This reimbursement will be paid on a yearly basis in the pay period that includes July 1st. Employees who either resign, retire, or have their employment terminated during the year and employees who start during any part of the year will have the reimbursement prorated. In the case of employees who either retire, resign, or have their employment terminated will have that portion of the reimbursement repaid to the State, in the last paycheck.

  • Transportation Management Tenant shall fully comply with all present or future programs intended to manage parking, transportation or traffic in and around the Building, and in connection therewith, Tenant shall take responsible action for the transportation planning and management of all employees located at the Premises by working directly with Landlord, any governmental transportation management organization or any other transportation-related committees or entities.

Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse effect on the employee's health.
