Couriers. (a) Each Chinese designated travel agency may appoint up to two persons to act on its behalf and account as couriers in the necessary visa application process for Chinese tourist groups wishing to visit the territory of the Community. The couriers are entitled to submit visa applications for such groups to the embassies or consular offices of Member States in China;

Couriers. Upon approval by Carrier (which approval shall not be reasonably withheld), couriers may accompany cargo for the safety and protection thereof in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration's regulations and limitations relating to couriers.

Care of objects and installation The installation of the works must be handled by the Borrower’s own specially trained staff. The Borrower shall ensure that the loan(s) are properly protected at all times. The objects shall be preserved in the condition in which they were received and the best possible protection be guaranteed at all times. The Borrower may not make any changes to the loan(s) without the Lender’s prior written consent. Except in an emergency, the works may not be moved or re-hung without the Lender’s permission. The Lender shall prepare a Condition Report which shall accompany the loan(s) and which the Borrower shall check, and if necessary complete, upon the arrival of the loan(s). The Condition Report shall be signed both upon receipt of the loan(s) and at the end of the exhibition and shall be returned with the object(s). Should the Lender not be able to provide a Condition Report, the Borrower shall prepare such a report after unpacking the loan(s). The Lender must be informed without delay of any changes in the condition of the loan(s).

The works must not be moved or re-hung without permission from the Lender except in an emergency. The Lender shall prepare a condition report which is to accompany the object and which upon arrival of the object(s) must be completed by the Borrower. Should the Lender not be able to provide a condition report the Borrower will prepare such a report when unpacking the loan(s) on his premises. If any changes in the condition of the loan(s) be noted the Lender must be contacted without delay. Version B Installation must be handled by qualified professional art handlers supervised by the Lender’s staff and trained for action in emergencies. Works packed in climate-controlled crates must be stored for acclimatisation for at least 24 hours. Empty crates shall be stored in a secure climate and temperature controlled indoor storage area, protected from moisture, pollution, fungus and vermin. For acclimatization they should be delivered to the galleries 24 hours before re-packing begins. The Borrower may not make any changes to the condition of the property. The works must not be moved or re-hung or re-installed without permission from the Lender except in an emergency. Couriers. An accredited tourist agency shall appoint a maximum of two persons (hereinafter: the courier) to be employed by the agency and deliver documentation at previously agreed office hours to a diplomatic mission or consular post. For the accreditation of couriers to a diplomatic mission or consular post, the local tourist agency shall submit the following documents: A letter by the local tourist agency to the diplomatic mission or consular post communicating data for the maximum of two persons authorised to undertake courier assignments; A photocopy of the passport or an alternative personal identity document of the courier; A colour photograph with dimensions of 3.5 x 4.5 cm (on the Tourist Agency Accreditation Application – see Annex 3 f); A notarised photocopy of the courier's employment contract; The deposited signature of the courier (on the Tourist Agency Accreditation Application); and A certificate of no criminal record. Only an accredited courier may deliver visa documentation on behalf of the local tourist agency.
Couriers. 4.5.1.Artwork(s) shall be couriered at all stages of its/their journey by an official representative of the Lender. When installation is to begin, the Borrower shall, with the Lender's courier, check the condition of each Artwork against the condition report. The Borrower will be asked to sign the condition report, which also serves as an acknowledgement of receipt. The Lender's courier shall have the authority to withdraw items from display where the stipulated requirements have not been met. Experienced technical staff must install the Artwork(s). The installation and the deinstallation should only take place under the supervision of the Lender's courier.
