Common use of Paid Disability Absence Clause in Contracts

Paid Disability Absence. For that period of time during which the employee (including temporary employees) is physically disabled and unable to perform her regular duties due to pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth and recovery therefrom, she shall be permitted to utilize her illness leave under this Article. If the employee does not have an illness leave balance, she shall be permitted an unpaid leave under Section 12.9.1.
