Paid Leave Bank as Salary Replacement. 116 An employee is considered as receiving her/his guaranteed compensation without deduction if management substitutes or reduces accrued PTO/ESL/ATO (individually and/or collectively referred to herein as the “paid leave bank”) for the time the employee is absent from work, as long as the employee receives payment of an amount equal to her/his guaranteed salary.
