Paid Parental/Pregnancy Leave. (i) An employee who is currently on an active work assignment and who meets the eligi- bility criteria in 17.02 (b) shall be eligible to receive, on a weekly basis, 50% of their regular wages for the remaining term of their current work assignment(s). Unpaid parental/pregnancy leave (if taken) will commence immediately following the end of this paid leave period.
