BYOT Responsible Use Agreement Agreements for Using Mobile Communication Devices (MCDs) in the Classroom Bring Your Own Technology is an ASA initiative to allow students to bring their personally owned mobile learning devices to school for the purpose of instructional use in the classroom. Such use is not required however, as ASA will provide necessary technology for student learning to every student on campus. Mobile learning devices may include laptops, tablets, smartphones, eReaders, or other devices that a teacher considers appropriate for instructional use. The Student and Parent Technology and Network Resource Expectations Form, a separate form provided above, outlines the agreement students and parents make to abide by conditions and guidelines for personal responsibility, acceptable use, privileges, services and consequences established to ensure responsible use of School and personal computing devices. Our expectations for mobile learning devices directly align with our School‐wide behavior expectations. The following are expectations for personal mobile learning devices: Be Respectful Students will, while within the campus gates, respect that all use of personal technology on campus is a privilege and a student may be directed by a teacher or administrator to turn off and put away their technology at any time. Students will respect the property of other students. Students will respect the guidelines set forth in the Code of Conduct for acceptable use.
Parental Agreement. 2014 In consideration of acceptance of my child in the Athletic Training Program outlined above, I hereby for myself, my child, their heirs, executors and administrators waive and release any claim we may have for damages against: Southern Miss Soccer Camps, Southern Miss Athletics, or the University of Southern Mississippi; their officials, officers, employees or representatives; or their successors, for any and all injuries that may be suffered by my child while or as a result of participating in the above said program. I also certify that Sothern Miss Soccer, Southern Miss Athletics, or The University of Southern Mississippi makes no guarantees that the athlete participating in this program will never get injured. I agree that my athlete is only entitled to the training sessions/camps specified by Southern Miss Soccer Camps or Southern Miss Athletics. I am also aware that my athlete is not entitled to a refund unless a doctor states in writing that my athlete cannot take part in the Athletic Training Program specified.
