Common use of Part-Time Employment Clause in Contracts

Part-Time Employment. (a) This clause recognises that some Employees may seek to switch and work on a part-time basis to accommodate their family responsibilities or other particular circumstances. (b) A part-time Employee is an Employee who works on a part-time basis involving a regular pattern of hours which shall average less than 36 hours per week. (c) A part-time Employee, who had initially been a full-time Employee with the Employer, may elect to revert to full-time employment by providing the Employer with two weeks’ notice.
