Part-Time General Clerks and Part-Time Clerk Cashiers. Part-time General Clerks and part-time Clerk Cashiers have the same opportunity as students to become Service Clerks, within the same time limits (thirty (30) days). Those part-time employees who elect to become Service Clerks will receive the Service Clerk rate of pay and take their present seniority date with them to the new classification. (Note: The thirty (30) day time limit will be extended but not for a period beyond December 31, 1983.) Those part-time employees who elect within the above time period to become Service Clerks may revert to their former classification without waiting for a period of one (1) year on a one time basis only, without loss of seniority. Thereafter, if a part-time employee wishes to change their classification status to that of a Service Clerk, their seniority in their previous classification will be lost, and a new seniority date as a Service Clerk will apply. Part-time Service Clerks will have seniority over student Service Clerks in accordance with the terms of the Collective Agreement. SIGNED THIS 1st DAY OF MARCH , 2003 .   • Part-Time Nurse is a Nurse hired to a position to work on a regular or temporary basis that is less than the work period of a Full-Time Nurse.

  • Part-time Nurses a. If a regular part-time nurse works on one of the holidays set forth in paragraph A above, he/she will be paid for all time worked on said holiday at two (2) times his/her regular straight-time hourly rate of pay.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • Part-Time Faculty A faculty member whose appointment is for a specified period of time and does not meet the full load requirements for an Academic Year as defined herein. Such appointment carries with it no promise or expectation of continued employment. Such appointments are not applicable towards tenure.

  • Casual Part-Time A nurse whose written letter of offer does not contain any guarantee of hours of work and who may be called to work as and where required. Casual part-time nurses may work for a fixed term or task not to exceed six (6) months. Casual nurses must make themselves available for a minimum of one (1) shift every three (3) months. Casual part-time nurses do not have access to the bumping and layoff provisions as per Article 6.04. Should a nurse accept a casual part-time position after retiring from the Region that nurse will not be required to fulfill a probationary period.

  • CONTRACTOR’S RELATION TO THE STATE In the performance of this Agreement the Contractor is in all respects an independent contractor, and is neither an agent nor an employee of the State. Neither the Contractor nor any of its officers, employees, agents or members shall have authority to bind the State or receive any benefits, workers’ compensation or other emoluments provided by the State to its employees.

  • Full-Time and Part-Time An employee who is required to have a medical examination and/or produce a doctor’s certificate pursuant to this agreement, shall be reimbursed by the employer for such expense upon producing a proper receipt.   • Contractor’s Xxxxxxxx to City Compensation. The Contractor shall send invoices to the City on a monthly or bi-monthly basis for the amounts to be paid pursuant to this contract. Each invoice shall document, to the reasonable satisfaction of the City: such information as may be reasonably requested by the City. Within 60 days after the City receives an invoice, the City shall send the Contractor a check in payment for all undisputed amounts contained in the invoice.
