Common use of Partial Leave Clause in Contracts

Partial Leave. Subject to the approval of the Employer, Employees may request to return from such personal leave at a reduced FTE status prior to the end date of the leave, and shall revert to their original FTE at the conclusion of the leave. During the partial leave, the Employee’s benefits shall be prorated based on the hours they are scheduled to work. Proration of benefits includes time-off accruals and eligibility and premiums for insurance benefits.
