Past President. 12.01 The Past President(s) may perform the following duties:
Past President. The past president is not an elected officer position. Rather, it is one that is held by the individual who served as the chapter president during the previous term. One of the main benefits to having a past president position is that this individual would have at least one year of experience as a chapter leader under their belt and would be able to help advise the chapter. Additionally, if this person is an alumnus working in the field, they can bring a unique perspective to your chapter meetings.
Past President. ● This position provides continuity between past and present Boards of Directors. His/her role within the Board is to provide advice, assistance and lend experience, when required. ● Chair the nomination committee.
Past President. The immediate Past President shall serve on the Advisory Board in an ex-officio capacity, without any voting rights, for the term of one year following the end of his/her term as President. The Past President shall not be a Member of the Company. In the event that the Past President was involuntarily removed from office as President, he/she will not serve on the Advisory Board.
Past President. The office of past president is created to ensure institutional continuity. If the past-president resigns from the Council, the Council shall elect a vice- president. The officer in this position shall perform the duties of the president in the absence of the president or at the request of the president. In the event a vacancy occurs in the presidency, the past-president or vice-president will act in the capacity of the president until the office has been filled by a vote of the Council membership.
Past President. The past President shall attend meetings and be available to give assistance and assume responsibilities when required.

Past President. The immediate Past President shall be a member of the Executive Board and perform such duties as may be assigned by the President and/or Executive Board, and shall, in the absence or disability of both the President and Vice-President, posses all of the powers and perform all of the duties of the President.
Past President. (added to Board by Resolution at 2017 Convention in Dickinson) Voting member of the Board of Directors Orients and mentors new incoming Officers of the Board of Directors. Serve as an advisor and counselor to the President and Board of Directors Continue to work on active projects from the presidential term and reports progress to the President. Other duties as assigned by the President. MONEY: All funds are in the hands of the NDFA Secretary/Treasurer. NDFA maintains bank accounts as necessary.
