Pay for Vacation. 37 38 a. Rate. The rate at which vacation is paid shall be at the employee’s current 39 rate. Employees whose vacations are earned and begun under a given status 40 shall suffer no loss of earned vacation salary by reason of subsequent 41 changes in conditions of employment. No vacation or part thereof shall be 42 taken in an amount less than one-half (½) hour at a time. 43 44 b. Pay Upon Termination. On separation from service, the employee shall be 45 entitled to lump sum compensation for all earned and unused vacation, except 46 that employees who have not completed the number of hours of employment 1 which corresponds to six (6) months or one hundred thirty (130) days of paid 2 service, whichever is longer, shall not be entitled to such compensation. 3
