Common use of Pay on Temporary Transfer Clause in Contracts

Pay on Temporary Transfer. When an employee temporarily relieves in or performs the principal duties of a higher paying position he shall receive the rate for the job. When an employee temporarily relieves in a position paying a lower rate, his rate shall not be reduced.

Pay on Temporary Transfer. When Where an employee is temporarily relieves assigned in or performs advance by the principal employee’s supervisor to perform the duties of a higher paying position he paid position, he/she shall receive the rate of pay applicable to such higher position for all hours.
