Pay Rate on Promotion. Commencing on the first (1st) full pay period following promotion, the promoted employee shall be initially paid at the earliest step in classification to which the employee is promoted which will give the employee a pay increase. A promotion shall not change the employee’s anniversary date for purposes of advancement on the pay scale.
Pay Rate on Promotion. An employee promoted to labor grade 3 or higher will be paid at either the minimum of the classification to which promoted, or two-dollars ($2.00) per hour above the employees’ rate prior to promotion, whichever is greater. Employees promoted to all other labor grades will be paid at either the minimum of the classification to which promoted, or one dollar ($1.00) per hour ab ove the employees’ rate prior to promotion, whichever is greater. In no event shall the resulting base pay rate exceed the established pay rate maximum.
