Daily Premium Pay. All non-exempt employees shall receive premium pay of time and one-half (1 1/2) their regular straight time hourly rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day. However, any shift that begins prior to 12 midnight, but ends after 12 midnight, shall be treated as one day for the purpose of computing pay rates. The time and one-half (1 1/2) premium after eight (8) hours shall not be applicable to employees regularly scheduled for ten hour days.

Daily Premium Pay. Time and one-half (1 1/2) an employee's straight time regular rate of pay shall be paid for all hours actually worked in excess of eight (8) in any one (1) workday. A workday shall be defined as a twenty- four hour period commencing from the start of an employee's regularly scheduled shift. This definition shall not apply for purposes of overtime premiums where: (1) An employee's regular shift is changed at his/her request; (2) The employee's regular shift has variable starting times or is scheduled on a rotation basis, provided, however, at least eight (8) hours of off-duty time is scheduled between the end of one (1) shift and the start of another.

  • Holiday Premium Pay A Nurse working on a recognized Holiday is entitled to the following compensation for any hours worked on the calendar date of the recognized Holiday: A.   • Sunday Premium Any employee who is required to work at any time on a Sunday shall be paid a Sunday premium in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay in the amount of seventy-five (75¢) cents per hour, for each such hour and portion of an hour worked. Sunday premium pay shall not be added to an employee's hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime. The provisions of this Article shall not apply to the “in charge” employees referred to in sub-articles 23.03 and 23.04 of this Agreement.

  • Shift Premium Full-Time and Part-Time Employees shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked where the majority of their scheduled hours fall between 1500 and 0700 hours.

  • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period. Night-shift premium shall not be added to the employee’s hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.
