Pay Rates. Custodial and maintenance employees are paid on a salary schedule that provides for an annual one-step increment until the employee reaches Step 10 of the grade to which the position is assigned. Bus drivers and bus attendants, are paid on a salary schedule that provides for an annual one-step increment until the employee reaches step 8 of the grade to which the position is assigned. Six (6) or eight (8) hour food and nutrition workers are paid on a salary schedule that provides for an annual one-step increment until the employee reaches Step 10 of the salary schedule to which the position is assigned. The employee must have been on active pay status for six months prior to July 1 in order to qualify for a one-step increment. Longevity increases are defined at the bottom of each salary schedule.
