Payment for Unused Vacation. A. At separation: Upon separation from service for any cause, an employee shall be paid a lump sum payment for any unused or accumulated vacation earned through the last day of employment. B. Upon death of employee: Upon the death of a person in the employ of the District, a lump sum payment for vacation time accrued to the employee's credit will be made to the employee's estate or beneficiaries if a beneficiary designation has been filed pursuant to NRS 281.155.
