Payment for Vacation Time. In the event of a layoff, death or retirement of an employee, the final wages shall include compensation for all unused, accrued vacation credit.   • Payment for annual leave (a) Before going on annual leave, an employee will be paid the amount of wages they would have received for ordinary time worked had they not been on leave during that period.

An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave.
