Pedestrian Circulation. The Applicant will make a good faith effort to maintain circulation around the perimeter of the Property throughout construction of the Buildings.

Pedestrian Circulation. 1. Provide elevators for the garage in accordance with good elevator engineering practice. 2. Stairs and exit to exterior walk at grade level shall be smoke and fire proof as required by law.
Pedestrian Circulation. Each building site Buyer shall construct a sidewalk along the property line fronting a public street intended to connect adjoining property owners. The sidewalk shall consist of a five foot (5’) wide uncolored concrete walk. The walk shall meander along the frontage of the property in gentle curves within the public right of way and landscape buffer zone of the site. The walk shall be located no closer than four feet (4') to the back of the curb and no more than twenty four feet (24’) from the back of curb. Walks shall conform and align with either existing or planned walk patterns at the property boundary. Pedestrian circulation within parcels should consider connection to the street frontage walkways.

Traveling southbound on the east side of 6th Street, SW adjacent to the Property: pedestrians detour to the western side of 6th Street, SW via the existing H Street SW crosswalks north of the Property; b. Travelling northbound on the east side of 6th Street, SW adjacent to the Property: pedestrians detour to the western side of 6th Street, SW via the existing crosswalk southwest of the Property; c. Travelling eastbound on the north side of I Street, SW adjacent to the Property: pedestrians detour to the south side of I Street SW via existing crosswalks southwest of the Property; and d. Travelling westbound on the north side of I Street, SW adjacent to the Property: pedestrians detour to the south side of I Street, SW via either the existing or a temporary crosswalk to be installed in an alignment with Makemie Place, SW.

Pedestrian Circulation i. Walkways at least five (5) feet in width shall connect focal points of pedestrian activity such as, but not limited to, transit stops, street crossings, building and store entry points. ii. Walkways shall be provided in large parking areas and in parking areas that are associated with a high pedestrian volume and shall be clearly distinguished, separated from the automobile traffic and parking spaces and aisles. 1. These walkways shall be integrated with existing sidewalks and pedestrian routes and coordinated with the surrounding neighborhoods where location of internal pedestrian routes are located. 2. Such walkways shall be constructed of concrete, stone or brick, must complement the overall design of the development, and be set apart and enhanced with landscaping and lighting. All internal pedestrian walkways shall be distinguished from driving surfaces through the use of color and durable, low maintenance surface materials such as pavers, bricks or scored concrete to enhance pedestrian safety and comfort, as well as the attractiveness of the walkways. iii. All walkways shall conform to the design requirements established by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

  • Sidewalks doorways, vestibules, halls, stairways and other similar areas shall not be obstructed by Tenant or used by Tenant for any purpose other than ingress and egress to and from the Premises. No rubbish, litter, trash, or material shall be placed, emptied, or thrown in those areas. At no time shall Tenant permit Tenant’s employees to loiter in Common Areas or elsewhere about the Building or Property.

  • Drainage ▪ Prevent silt bearing road surface and ditch runoff from delivering sediment to any streams or wetlands. ▪ Maintain rolling dips and drivable waterbars as needed to keep them functioning as intended. ▪ Maintain headwalls to the road shoulder level with material that will resist erosion. ▪ Maintain energy dissipaters at culvert outlets with non-erodible material or rock. ▪ Keep ditches, culverts, and other drainage structures clear of obstructions and functioning as intended. ▪ Inspect and clean culverts at least monthly, with additional inspections during storms and periods of high runoff. This shall be done even during periods of inactivity. ▪ Perform preventative maintenance work to safeguard against storm damage, such as blading to ensure correct runoff, ditch and culvert cleaning, and waterbar maintenance.
