Performance tests after Completion. CONTRACT 37 ECC3 COVER PAGES
a. The Contractor applies formally for each test/test phases to start. The test only starts when the Plant is in a fully operational state. Plant commissioning and optimization are not be allowed during testing.
b. The Contractor submits, for approval by the Project Manager, a complete and detailed test procedure prior to any tests commencing. This test procedure includes all tests and inspections required in terms of the respective specifications and other tests and inspections deemed necessary by the Contractor to prove to the Project Manager’s satisfaction that the Plant is performing according to this specification and shall include reliability - and capacity tests.
c. Reliability tests constitute at least one month of continuous unassisted operation of the Plant of which the last week are completely trouble free. The reliability tests are regarded as successful when the stoppages as a result of this relevant system is limited to a maximum of 0.5 incidents per day and that the downtime as result of the combined stoppages is less than 30 minutes per day on average measured over the period of 30 days continuous operation in the fully automatic mode with no control simulations in place.
d. During capacity testing the system operates at maximum design capacity for a continuous period of more than 8 hrs. The Plant operates satisfactorily with no indication of constraints in the functional performance for extended operation at this maximum load.
e. The following are tested and confirmed, as a minimum: Confirmation that the control system performs according to the design with reference to control and sequence starting and stopping and that all protection devices, limits and the communication links operates correctly. No spillages No blockages or build ups that may result in blockages Acceptable levels of dust in the environment. The levels of dust complies with statutory requirements and no nuisance dust in the general working areas for operators and maintainers are present. The central loading of conveyors The performance of the transfer chutes. The evaluation of conveyor transfer balance when tripped at full capacity and speed (no over spilling at transfer points during conveyor run-down). The ability of the Plant to stop and start under full load. All the functional operation of the machines under load. Performance of the conveyor drive train with reference to acceleration torque introduction, the dynamic be...
Performance tests after Completion. The contractor shall perform any performance test after installation in the presence of Project Manager and the Engineer according to the QCP to demonstrate that the works can operate as guaranteed by the Contractor (in Contractor’s Works Information) or specified by the Employer either here.
Performance tests after Completion. Duvha Quality department together with the Project Manager, Engineer and Contractor will sign off the works as having met all the requirements as set out in the works information after completion.
Performance tests after Completion. The Contractor will perform all tests required to bring the asset to service.
Performance tests after Completion. Not applicable.
Performance tests after Completion. Cold commissioning open and closing of the valve with actuator installed. Assess the response time of the valve and fail to open functionality
Performance tests after Completion. The Contractor tests the works in accordance with the accepted testing procedure.
Performance tests after Completion. The physical equipment and system performance guarantee shall be demonstrated during the reliability test run for a period of 90 days after the commissioning of the last machine and in agreement with the Project Manager.
Performance tests after Completion. The Contactor shall conduct performance test after installation in the presence of the Project Manager and the Engineer according to the QCP.
Performance tests after Completion. After Completion of the Works the Contractor applies formally to the Employer to conduct any tests on the Plant. No optimisation and commissioning of the Plant is permitted during any testing periods. The Contractor develops and submits for approval to the Employer a complete testing and inspection procedure for all tests/test phases to be conducted after Completion of the works. The testing and inspection procedure includes all tests and inspections deemed necessary by the Contractor to prove to the Employer’s satisfaction that the Plant performs according to the Employers specification. The testing and inspection procedure includes as a minimum: Correct switching of the level switches. Confirmation that the xxxxxx aeration allows the ash to flow freely. In the case of a failure of any of the tests/test phases, the functional tests for the relevant areas of the Plant and all affected areas of the Plant are repeated. The capacity and reliability tests are redone in total on the relevant Plant. During the test period, the Employer’s personnel operates the Plant, under the supervision of the Contractor. The Contractor is not permitted to directly operate the Plant. The Employer reserves the right to carry out further testing on the Plant. On completion of all the tests the Contractor supplies in triplicate, completed test certificates. The Contractor supplies all prescribed statutory documents as are required, certifying that the Plant is in complete working order and that all working parts are evenly lubricated.
