In case of accident driver and remaining passengers will be covered for medical expenses until €250 per passenger, in case of death or permanent disability a coverage of €5.000 per passenger; d) SUPER CDW: If hired, with CDW and TP the Client is reducing mandatory liability for damages, to a minimum value. Excludes damages under the vehicle, damages in the windscreen, rim and tires destroyed, clutch and gearbox; e) Windscreen Damage Waiver (WDW): If hired, with CDW, TP and SUPER CDW, the Client is reducing to the value of mandatory liability, to a minimum value; f) Tire and Rim Waiver (TRW): If hired, with CDW, TP and SUPER CDW, the Client is reducing the value of mandatory liability, to a minimum value.

How to obtain coverage Coverage becomes effective when You indicate that you “Accept” Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) in Your Enrollment and pay the additional daily charge that as of June 1 , 2016 is NZ$5 per day (plus GST) but is subject to change. Such charge is due in full for each full or partial rental day.

You acknowledge that you have read and understand the summary in this Agreement, which describes your option to purchase Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) in connection with each car rental from us, where such coverage is available, and the terms and conditions of such insurance. You understand that a copy of the policy is available for your inspection at the rental counter and that you may choose the PAI option by so 8 indicating on your Enrollment Profile. You agree that your choice will apply to each rental that you make using Avis Preferred, unless and until you change your choice for all future rentals by sending us a new Enrollment Profile indicating the changed choice in writing. On any rental for which you have chosen to accept PAI, you agree to pay the PAI fee in effect at time of rental for each full or partial day that the car is rented to you. You understand that we have the right to change the PAI fee from time to time and that you can be informed of the PAI fee in effect at the time of your rental by requesting this information from the reservation agent or checking the Avis web site at the time you reserve the car. You also understand that we reserve the right to offer PAI and PEP (see below) as a combined option only. In such event, you agree that if you have chosen either option on your Enrollment Profile you will be provided both options on each Avis Preferred rental that you make at the fee then in effect for the combined option, unless and until you notify us, as provided above, of a change of your choice to decline both optional services.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI). If the rental rate includes personal accident insurance the renter will be covered by a personal accident insurance policy and other accompanying arrangements (if any) obtained by the Company for his benefit but subject to all the terms and conditions of that policy and the other accompanying arrangements (if any). The Renter acknowledges that the Company itself shall not under any circumstances have any liability to it under that policy or the accompanying arrangements (if any). Details of the policy and/or brochure and details of the other accompanying arrangements, (if any) are available for inspection at the Company's offices and the Renter shall be deemed to be aware of and accept all the terms and conditions of the policy and the other arrangements, (if any). THIRD PARTY LIABILITY COVER Details of the Third Party Liability Cover, covered by an insurance arrangement, is available at the rental location and on the Company's websites (xxx.xxxx.xx.xx). The Renter shall be deemed to be aware of and accept all the terms and conditions of the TPLC.
