Common use of Personal Illness Leave Clause in Contracts

Personal Illness Leave. For absences caused by illness or physical disability of the teacher, each teacher shall be allowed ten (10) days each year accumulative to two hundred and fifteen (215) days. If a new teacher has unused sick leave in the last corporation in which they taught, they may transfer a maximum of three (3) days per year to the East Xxxxxx School Corporation until their days have been fully transferred. Teachers shall be given an accounting of their accumulated sick leave on each paycheck stub. (As amended January 1, 1995.)
