Personal Illness Days. 1.2.1.1 The Personal illness days will commence from the time that an employee is unable to attend for duty due to either illness or an accident that occurred that is not work related. For each such day 2 days are taken from the entitlement prescribed below.

Personal Illness Days. The Interim Superintendent shall be credited with paid sick time in accordance with The Earned Sick Leave Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11D-2, et seq. For every 30 hours worked, the Interim Superintendent shall accrue one hour of paid sick leave. The Board shall not be required to permit the accrual or use in any Conttract year, or carry forward from one Contract year to the next, more than 40 hours of earned sick leave.
Personal Illness Days. The Board provides members with fourteen (14) days per year at full pay for personal illness. These days may be accumulated for use in subsequent years. The Board further provides that, after all such personal illness days as indicated in the preceding paragraph are exhausted, an additional fourteen (14) days per year are provided at half pay for the members on a case by case basis.
Personal Illness Days. 1. Each employee shall be entitled to a one (1) personal illness day per month with full pay during the term of this Agreement, and such personal illness days shall be accumulated in a bank which in no event shall exceed one hundred twenty (120) personal illness days (except as stated in this article Section 4). “
Personal Illness Days. Each employee shall be entitled to six (6) personal illness days per year. “Personal illness” shall constitute a medical/health condition of the employee, spouse, child, or legal dependent that impairs the ability to function in a reasonably normal manner and meet his/her daily routines and requirements. Unused personal illness days may accumulate from year to year to a maximum of forty-eight (48); thereafter, accumulated personal illness days must be redeemed. At the end of each school year unused personal illness days may be redeemed at the rate of $25.00 per unused personal illness day. Employees will provide as much advance notice to the employee’s supervisor as possible for use of a personal illness day in order that appropriate arrangements can be made for a substitute.

  • Personal Illness Employees may use accumulated sick leave for hours off due to personal illness. The employee may be required to furnish a medical certificate from a qualified physician as evidence of illness or physical disability in order to qualify for paid sick leave as per District practice. Accumulated sick leave may also be granted for such time as is actually necessary for office visits to a doctor, dentist, optometrist, etc.

  • Personal Business Days Three (3) sick leave days a year may be used for personal business. Additional personal business days may be granted the Superintendent. The purpose of this leave is to relieve teachers of financial hardship in situations over which they have no control.

  • HOLIDAYS AND PERSONAL DAYS During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to Holidays and Personal Days in accordance with Hxxxxxx Jxxxx policy (currently12 paid Holidays and 10 Personal days per calendar year). Unused Holidays and Personal Days may not be carried forward from one calendar year to any subsequent calendar year.

  • Personal Illness or Disability The bargaining unit member may use all or any portion of his leave to recover from his/her own illness or disability.

  • Personal Days Employee shall be entitled to three (3) personal days annually, pro-rated for any partial year of employment, the unused portion of which shall accumulate as sick days.

  • Business Days If any time period for giving notice or taking action hereunder expires on a day which is a Saturday, Sunday or holiday in the state in which the Company’s chief executive office is located, the time period shall be automatically extended to the business day immediately following such Saturday, Sunday or holiday.

  • Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / carer's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. Paid personal / carer's leave is cumulative.

  • Bereavement Days In the case of bereavement of immediate family (as defined in article IX.G.1 below), employees will be given three (3) days that do not count against personal or sick leave. Additional bereavement days taken will be deducted from sick leave.

  • Personal Business Day On April 01 of each fiscal year, one (1) day (eight (8) hours) of paid leave will be credited to employees for use in personal or special circumstances. At no time will an employee have a credit of more than ten (10) Personal Business Days. The granting of such personal leave will be subject to normal approval by supervision subject to operational requirements, and will not be unreasonably withheld. Upon termination of employment with the Company, unused day(s) will be paid off at the employee's current salary in effect at the time.
