Personal Leave Full Time Employees Only. The Employer may in its sole discretion grant a leave of absence without pay to any employee who has successfully completed the probationary period for legitimate personal reasons provided the employee can be spared having due regard for the proper and efficient operation of the Employer and the needs of the Employer. Application for such leave shall be made in writing to the Employer as far in advance as possible, but in any event at least four (4) weeks prior to commencement of the leave. The four (4) week period will be waived in circumstances where such notice in advance would in the circumstances be impossible. The application must clearly state the reason for the leave of absence and the duration of such absence. The employee shall accumulate service or seniority during the first month only of such absence.

  • Full-Time Employees Only Employees will be allowed to participate in health and welfare benefits plans during the year of the leave, but the full cost of such plans will be borne by the employees. Contributions to the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan will be in accordance with the Plan. Notwithstanding the above, employees will not be eligible to participate in the disability income plan during the year of the leave.

  • Permanent Full-Time Employees Pay and benefits will be computed on a monthly pay status basis.

  • Full-Time Employment A full-time Employee is one who is engaged to work 38 hours per week or an average of 38 hours per week pursuant to clause 26(a) of the Agreement.

  • Full-Time Employees A full-time employee is one engaged as such and whose ordinary hours of work average 38 hours per week. The employee’s ordinary hours of work will not exceed an average of 38 hours per week over a 4 week period. Although the actual hours of work may vary from week to week, with some weeks greater than 38 hours and other weeks less, the employee will not work in excess of 152 ordinary hours in any four week period.

  • Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.

  • Employees on Leave Unit members who are granted Sick Leave Bank Days shall be considered to be in regular paid status during such leave.

  • Leave of Absence for Full-Time Union or Public Duties An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union or anybody with which the Union is affiliated, or who is elected to public office, shall be granted leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority.

  • Applicable to Full-Time Employees An employee who qualifies under Article 16.04 and is required to work on any of the above-mentioned holidays will, at the option of the Employer, receive in addition to shift premium, if applicable, either;

  • Full-Time Employee A full-time employee shall be an employee who is normally scheduled to work not less than forty (40) hours per week, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour working days.

  • Full-Time Union Leave Upon application by the Union, in writing, the Company will grant leave of absence, without pay, to an employee elected or appointed to full-time Union position. It is understood that not more than one (1) employee in the bargaining unit may be on such leave at the same time. Seniority and service shall accumulate during the full term of such leave.
