Common use of Personal Leaves of Absence Clause in Contracts

Personal Leaves of Absence. 25.01 The Employer may, in its discretion, grant a personal leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority for up to a maximum of ninety (90) calendar days, to an employee who has successfully completed his probationary period, for a good and sufficient personal reason and subject to the requirements of the Employer’s business. The Employer will provide a response to the employee's written request for a personal leave of absence within five (5) working days of the receipt of the employee's written request.
