Common use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment Clause in Contracts

Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment. The Employer shall provide personal protective clothing and equipment (not including safety shoes) that, as determined by the Employer, are required by applicable state laws and regulations. In the event the Employer requires an employee to wear safety shoes on the job, the Employer, upon proof of purchase shall, on an annual basis, reimburse the employee for the cost of one pair of safety shoes as identified by the Employer. The Employer will make available non-prescription safety glasses to employees who are required to wear them as part of their job.
