PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND APPAREL. 25.01 The Corporation agrees to provide volunteers with the necessary Personal Protective Equipment and Apparel as defined in Schedule “B”.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND APPAREL. 25.01 The Employer agrees to assign to each station, an amount equal to eighty dollars ($80.00) per volunteer assigned to the station, including the Division Commander, for the purchase of clothing as needed and as approved by the Fire Chief or his designate. This amount shall increase to ninety dollars ($90.00) per firefighter in year two (2) of this Collective Agreement. This amount shall not accrue from year to year. The Fire Chief or his designate shall develop a list of appropriate apparel, and shall consult with the Association in the development of such list, from which volunteers will be able to direct their clothing allowance. Items that a volunteer wishes to purchase which are not on the list can be purchased with the approval of the Fire Chief or his designate, using the funds allocated to each individual firefighter, as described in this Article.
