Place of Work Accommodation. (a) If an employee or an eligible person, as defined under the Employment Standards Act, has experienced domestic or sexual violence, the Employer shall make every effort reasonable to implement one or more of the below, dependent on service delivery requirements, to accommodate the employee if they need to: (1) work at a place of work other than where the Employer has assigned the employee, as addressed in Clause 22.14 - Prevention of Violence in the Workplace. (2) work at different times than the Employer has assigned the employee. (3) work fewer hours than the Employer has assigned the employee by allowing the employee to access their personal leave credits, leaves under Clause 15.1 - Special Leaves, and leaves under Clause 27.3 below. (b) The Employer may require an employee who needs accommodation under Clause (a) above to provide evidence reasonable in the circumstances that the employee needs accommodation.

  • Place of Work Your normal place of work is at the School, or at any premises used from time to time by the School, unless Your duties take You elsewhere. The Contractor hereby releases and holds the City harmless from and against any liability or claim for damages of any kind or nature if the actual site or service conditions differ from expected conditions. The contractor shall, at all times, exercise reasonable precautions for the safety of their employees, City Staff, participants and others on or near the City’s facilities.

If such Work is found in accordance with the Contract Documents, the cost of uncovering and replacement shall, by appropriate Change Order, be charged to the State. If such Work is found not to be in accordance with the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall pay such costs unless it is found that this condition was caused by the State or a separate contractor as provided in Article 6 of these General Conditions, in which event the State shall be responsible for the payment of such costs.

  • CUTTING AND PATCHING OF WORK 4.14.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for all cutting, fitting or patching that may be required to complete the Work or to make its several parts fit together properly. 4.14.2 The Contractor shall not damage or endanger any portion of the Work or the work of the State or any separate contractors by cutting, patching or otherwise altering any work, or by excavation. The Contractor shall not cut or otherwise alter the work of the State or any separate contractor except with the written consent of the State and of such separate contractor. The Contractor shall not unreasonably withhold from the State or any separate contractor his consent to cutting or otherwise altering the Work.
