POST GRADUATE DEGREE ALLOWANCE. L7.7 Post-graduate degree allowances granted under a previous Agreement will continue.
POST GRADUATE DEGREE ALLOWANCE. An additional allowance will be paid to all teachers holding a recognized Master's or Doctorate degree a recognized university, in the discipline in which the teacher is teaching, as follows: Only one (1) post-graduate degree will be acknowledged for an additional allowance. The above allowance will be paid only in situations when the post-graduate courses involved are not used for basic certification.
POST GRADUATE DEGREE ALLOWANCE. Effective September 1, 2014 the Board shall pay an allowance of $900 per annum. Effective September 1, 2016 the allowance shall be $909 per annum. Effective January 27, 2017 the allowance shall be $914 per annum for one Master's Degree from an Ontario University or equivalent degree as recommended by the College of Education, University of Toronto, or one specialist's certificate if it is not used in the evaluation for category placement. A Teacher is entitled to an allowance for the Master's Degree or the specialist's certificate but not both.
POST GRADUATE DEGREE ALLOWANCE. An annual allowance of $800 shall be paid for a Post-Graduate Degree if related to the subjects taught by the teacher and if not already used in determining category. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any teacher employed by the Board as of August 31, 1998, who is receiving an extra degree allowance greater than $800 shall continue to be paid the higher allowance.

POST GRADUATE DEGREE ALLOWANCE. 6.02.1 An additional allowance will be paid to all teachers holding a recognized Master’s or Doctorate degree from a recognized university, in the discipline in which the teacher is teaching, as follows: Effective September 1, 2008 - $1,397.71. Effective September 1, 2009 - $1,439.64. Effective September 1, 2010 - $1,482.83. Effective September 1, 2011 - $1,527.31.
6.02.2 Only one (1) post-graduate degree will be acknowledged for an additional allowance.
