PRE-BID ASSISTANCE. This task includes the preparation of addenda, as needed, and responding to questions during the bidding phase. Consultant shall respond to questions from Construction Contractors about the plans and specifications during the bidding process. Consultant shall prepare and deliver the addenda text in a Microsoft Word file. Consultant shall prepare and deliver stamped drawings in PDF. Consultant shall coordinate reviews of addenda with City prior to submittal. Consultant shall prepare required Contract addenda to provide clarification to the bid documents. Consultant shall submit the addenda to City for distribution to bidders. Consultant shall compile a set of Conformed Construction documents that include addenda issued during the bidding process. Consultant shall prepare for and attend the Pre-Bid Meeting. Attendees will include the PM and EOR to discuss the construction schedule, utility involvement, permit concerns, required documentation submittals, materials, construction surveying, and other items relevant to the construction of the Project.  Pre Bid meetings will be held for the following projects and will be located in Bend. Each meeting will have a duration of one (1) hour: x Xxxxxxx Ave and 14th St Roundabout o 14th St: Xxxxxxx Ave to Commerce Ave  City shall serve as the point of contact for Construction Contractors and suppliers with questions regarding the bid documents and bid process.  Consultant shall prepare one (1) addendum.  City will issue and distribute addenda.

  • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Regulatory Assistance Provider will permit regulators with jurisdiction over BFA or any BFA Recipient to examine Provider’s activities relating to its performance under this Agreement and the Services. Subject to Section 17.6, Provider will cooperate and provide all information reasonably requested by the regulator in connection with any such examination and provide reasonable assistance and access to all equipment, records, and systems requested by the regulator relating to the Services.

  • Turnover Assistance Grantee will provide any assistance and actions reasonably necessary to enable System Agency or its designee to effectively close out the Grant Agreement and transfer the performance and obligations of the Grant Agreement to another Grantee or to System Agency if necessary. Grantee agrees that this obligation survives the termination, regardless of whether for cause or convenience, or the expiration of the Grant Agreement and remains in effect until completed to the satisfaction of System Agency.

  • Employee Assistance Drug and alcohol counseling, rehabilitation, and employee assistance are available from or through the Employer’s employee assistance program provider(s) (E.A.P.).

  • Audit Assistance Each of the Parties and their respective Subsidiaries are or may be subject to regulation and audit by a Governmental Authority (including a Taxing Authority), standards organizations, customers or other parties to contracts with such Parties or their respective Subsidiaries under applicable Law, standards or contract provisions. If a Governmental Authority, standards organization, customer or other party to a contract with a Party or its Subsidiary exercises its right to examine or audit such Party’s or its Subsidiary’s books, records, documents or accounting practices and procedures pursuant to such applicable Law, standards or contract provisions, and such examination or audit relates to the Services, then the other Party shall provide, at the sole cost and expense of the requesting Party, all assistance reasonably requested by the Party that is subject to the examination or audit in responding to such examination or audits or requests for Information, to the extent that such assistance or Information is within the reasonable control of the cooperating Party and is related to the Services.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Section 1. The Employer agrees to provide to the Union the statistical and program evaluation information provided to management concerning Employee Assistance Program(s). Section 2. No information gathered by an Employee Assistance Program may be used to discipline an employee. Section 3. Employees shall be entitled to use accrued sick leave for participation in an Employee Assistance Program. Section 4. Each university will offer training to local Union Stewards on the Employee Assistance Program available in their university, on university time, where an Employee Assistance Program is available.

  • Cooperation and Assistance (a) You agree to provide access at no cost or expense to Us.

  • Employee Assistance Program Neither the fact of an employee's participation in an employee assistance program, nor information generated by participation in the program, shall be used as a reason for discipline under this Article, except for information relating to an employee's failure to participate in an employee assistance program consistent with the terms to which the employee and the University have agreed.

  • Employee Assistance Programs Consistent with the University's Employee Assistance Program, employees participating in an employee assistance program who receive a notice of layoff may continue to participate in that program for a period of ninety (90) days following the layoff.

  • Information and Assistance 15.1.1 Subject to any obligation in respect of confidentiality, the DPA 2018 and Confidential Information, the Parties will use all reasonable endeavours to provide and share information and data reasonably required by the other: (a) to enable it to perform its obligations under this Agreement; and/or (b) (in the case of the Provider) which is reasonably necessary to enable the Department to perform its statutory obligations and other functions insofar as such provision forms part of the Services. 15.1.2 Neither Party will hinder, delay or prevent the other Party in the performance of the other Party's obligations under this Agreement.
