PRE-TENDER CONFERENCE. Deleted 1.2.1 The prospective tenderers are free to ask for any additional information or clarification either in writing or orally concerning the work, and the reply to the same will be given by the Executive Engineer, in writing and this clarification referred to as Common Set of Conditions/Deviations (C.S.D.), shall form part of tender documents and which will also be common and applicable to all tenderers. The point/points if any raised in writing and/or verbally by the contractor in pre- tender conference and not finding place in C.S.D. issued after the pre- bid conference, is/are deemed rejected. In such case the provision in NIT shall prevail. No individual correspondence will be made thereafter with the contractor in this regard. 1.2.2 The tender submitted by the tenderer shall be based on the clarification, additional facility offered (if any) by the Department, and this tender shall be unconditional. Conditional tenders shall be summarily REJECTED. 1.2.3 All tenderers are cautioned that tenders containing any deviation from the contractual terms and conditions, specifications or other requirements and conditional tenders will be treated as non responsive. The tenderer should clearly mention in forwarding letter that his offer (in envelope No. 1& 2) does not contain any conditions, deviations from terms and conditions stipulated in the tender. 1.2.4 Tenderers should have valid Class II / III Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) obtained from any Certifying Authorities. PRE-TENDER CONFERENCE a) At time of tender, the Employer and Union will hold a pre- tender conference. The parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure these meetings take place in person, but alternatively one or more participants could be included via a conference-call or video conference. These meetings will be held to determine certain site-specific conditions as outlined in the Agreement, including exceptions to normal practice or collective agreement provisions, project xxxxxxx(s), travel and accommodation provisions, shift schedules, hours of work, etc. The pre-tender conference will be attended by the Employer, a Representative from the Union, along with a Union Xxxxxxx. b) A copy of the pre-tender conference report will be provided to the Employer, the Union and the job Xxxxxxx(s). The solicitation will set forth specific information concerning date, time, location and any other applicable information concerning this pre-tender conference. The solicitation will clearly state that attendance at the pre-tender conference is recommended; however, attendance is neither required nor a prerequisite for tender submission and will not be considered in the evaluation.

  • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE a) The Employer shall notify the union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference shall be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in the Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties. b) A copy of the pre-job conference report shall be provided to the Employer, the Union and the Job Xxxxxxx (s).   • Informal Conference An employee against whom the disciplinary action is being considered may be requested to attend an informal conference with the immediate supervisor, his/her designee and/or a Human Resources Administrator prior to official written notification or any recommended disciplinary action. At such conference, the employee shall be informed orally of the specific disciplinary action being considered as well as the reasons therefore and be given an opportunity to respond thereto. At such a conference, the employee may represent himself/herself and/or be represented by a union representative. Holding such an informal conference is discretionary with the District and the failure to do so shall not invalidate any disciplinary action taken pursuant to this regulation.
