PRE-TENDER CONFERENCE i) A Pre-Tender Conference open to all prospective tenderers will be held at Mumbai on 27.05.2018 at 15:00 hrs. in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer Maharashtra Maritime Board in Presence of the Chief Engineer, Superintending Engineer, the Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer and the Executive Engineer, MMB. H.& W. C. Ltd., Mumbai, wherein the prospective tenderers will have an opportunity to obtain clarifications regarding the work and the tender conditions. Response to queries raised at the time of pre bid meeting will be uploaded on the e-Tendering portal of the MMB & WC Ltd. i.e. xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xx under the section ‘Press Notices / Corrigendum’ ii) The prospective tenderers are free to ask for any additional information or clarification either in writing or orally and the reply to the same will be given by The Client MMB Mumbai, in writing. This clarification referred to as “Common set of deviations” shall form part of tender documents and which will also be common and applicable to all tenderers. iii) The tender submitted by tenderer shall be based on the clarification, additional facility issued (if any) by the MMB Ltd. and this tender shall be unconditional. Conditional tenders will be summarily rejected. iv) In case, there is any doubt/omissions regarding the wording in general conditions or special conditions or the scope of work or the specifications and drawing or any other matter concerning the contract, the same shall in good time be submitted to the Chief Engineer,MMB Mumbai, to reach him before scheduled pre-bid meeting date & time, in writing in order that such doubts may be clarified authoritively before tendering. Once the tender is submitted the matter will be decided according to tender condition in the absence of authentic pre-clarification.

PRE-TENDER CONFERENCE a) At time of tender, the Employer and Union will hold a pre- tender conference. The parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure these meetings take place in person, but alternatively one or more participants could be included via a conference-call or video conference.   • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE a) The Employer shall notify the union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference shall be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in the Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties. b) A copy of the pre-job conference report shall be provided to the Employer, the Union and the Job Xxxxxxx (s).   • Church Conference Vote At least two-thirds (2/3) of the professing members present at a church conference of the Local Church must vote to disaffiliate from The United Methodist Church “for reasons of conscience regarding a change in the requirements and provisions of the Book of Discipline related to the practice of homosexuality or the ordination or marriage of self-avowed practicing homosexuals as resolved and adopted by the 2019 General Conference, or the actions or inactions of its annual conference related to these issues which follow.” Local Church shall provide documentation, to the satisfaction of Annual Conference, which evidences the result of the disaffiliation vote taken at the church conference. Such documentation must be certified by an authorized officer of Local Church and shall be included as an Exhibit A to this Disaffiliation Agreement.

  • Preconstruction Conference Prior to, or concurrent with, the issuance of the Notice to Proceed with Construction, a conference will be convened for attendance by the Owner, Contractor, A/E and appropriate Subcontractors. The purpose of the conference is to establish a working understanding among the parties as to the Work, the operational conditions at the Project Site, and general administration of the Project.   • Post-Observation Conference The teacher and evaluator shall schedule to meet for the post-observation conference as soon as reasonably possible after the formal observation, but not to exceed five school days. The post-observation conference includes a review of the teacher's self-assessment of the observation and the evaluator's evidence of the observation. Both the teacher and the evaluator may contribute evidence to the overall assessment of professional performance during the conference as such conference is intended to be a dialogue between the teacher and evaluator. At the end of the post- observation conference the teacher and evaluator will agree on next steps and sign documentation that the conference has occurred.

  • Informal Conference An employee against whom the disciplinary action is being considered may be requested to attend an informal conference with the immediate supervisor, his/her designee and/or a Human Resources Administrator prior to official written notification or any recommended disciplinary action. At such conference, the employee shall be informed orally of the specific disciplinary action being considered as well as the reasons therefore and be given an opportunity to respond thereto. At such a conference, the employee may represent himself/herself and/or be represented by a union representative. Holding such an informal conference is discretionary with the District and the failure to do so shall not invalidate any disciplinary action taken pursuant to this regulation.

  • Evaluation Conference The final evaluation conference shall occur not later than the end of the fall term. The purpose of the final evaluation conference is to discuss with the probationary employee the results of the evaluation and announce the team’s recommendation. The evaluation team shall determine what additional evaluation activity shall occur during the spring term. If the team recommends that the District not employ the professor for the following year, no evaluation activities in the spring are necessary.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable. B. In the event that a bargaining unit member does not communicate with a parent on the established date for parent unit member conferences as per the calendar adopted by the Board, a reasonable attempt to contact that parent will be made. A reasonable attempt constitutes a phone call or email. If that contact is not returned, the bargaining unit member shall not be obligated to make further contact.
