Common use of Preference in Vacation Clause in Contracts

Preference in Vacation. (a) Vacation shall be granted on the basis of seniority within a program. (b) Vacation schedules will be circulated and posted by April 1 of each year. (c) An employee who does not exercise their seniority right within two weeks of receiving the vacation schedule shall not be entitled to exercise those rights in respect to any vacation time previously selected by an employee with less seniority. (d) Vacation requests that are submitted after April 1 of any year may be granted, subject to the operational requirements of OC. Such requests shall not be unreasonably denied.
