Deduction of Sick Leave. All absences on account of illness or injury on a normal working day (exclusive of designated paid holidays) shall be charged against an employee's sick leave credits.
Deduction of Sick Leave. All absences on account of illness or injury (exclusion of designated paid holidays) shall be charged against an employee's sick leave credits except that medical and dental appointments shall be dealt with pursuant to Article 19.11.

Absence on sick leave shall be deducted in one-quarter (¼) day increments. Absence on sick leave for less than one-quarter (¼) day may be deducted as one- quarter (¼) day; absence for more than one-quarter (¼) day but less than one-half (½) day may be deducted as one- half (½) day; absence of more than one-half (½) day but less than three-quarter (3/4) day; may be deducted as three- quarter (3/4) day; absence of more than three-quarter (3/4) day but less than one (1) full day may be deducted as one (1) full day.
Deduction of Sick Leave. Subject to Article 19.06, a deduction shall be made from an employee's accumulated sick leave credits for each working day that the employee is absent on sick leave. Absence on sick leave for less than one-half day may be deducted as one-half day, absence for more than one-half day but less than a full day may be deducted as a full day.
(a) The parties agree that the Employer has the right to investigate the use of sick leave. Misuse of sick leave may be grounds for disciplinary action.
(b) After more than three (3) consecutive working days lost time due to sickness a Doctor's Certificate shall be submitted by the employee or time lost will be deducted from the employee's wages in accordance with the hourly rates listed in Schedule "A". Where the Employer has reason to believe that an employee is misusing the sick leave privilege such employee may be required to produce a Doctor's Certificate for an absence of three (3) days or less for which sick leave is sought and if a Certificate is not produced after such request, the time absent from work will be deducted from the employee's wages.
(c) Where a Doctor's Certificate is required for absences of three (3) days or less under 19.08 (b) above, such proof of illness shall be requested during the illness unless the employee has been issued a standing directive that requires him to submit a Doctor's Certificate for any period of absence for which sick leave is sought. An individual standing directive shall be valid for a period of not more than twelve (12) months following the date of issue of the same.
Deduction of Sick Leave. Absence for an accounted illness for less than half a day shall not be deducted. Absence for half a day or more and less than a full day shall be deducted as one-half day. This provision is to be pro-rated for part-time employees.
Deduction of Sick Leave a. Faculty members must account for each day of the academic year. If a faculty member misses all assignments, regardless of their duration, a full day shall be charged to sick leave.
b. Absences of less than a full day, because of illness or injury, shall be deducted in 1/4 day increments based on the ratio of the absence to the daily assignment. Any total above 1/4 shall be counted at the next 1/4.
Deduction of Sick Leave. Xxxx leave allowed shall be deducted from the accrued sick leave days earned by the teacher.
Deduction of Sick Leave a) Subject to Clause 23.05, a deduction shall be made from an employee's accumulated sick leave credits for each working day that the employee is absent on sick leave.
b) When an employee is absent from work due to illness for any part of a shift, deduction of sick leave will be made as follows:
i) less than three hours on duty - one (1) sick day leave;
ii) more than three hours but less than eight (8) hours on duty - one half day sick leave; iii) eight (8) hours or more on duty - no deduction.
