Prescribed Rostered Day Off. For the prescribed rostered day off, an Employee shall be paid the applicable rate less 0.8 of an hour for each day the Employee did not attend for work because of an absence of unpaid leave during the work cycle. Where an Employee works part of a work cycle on site under this Agreement and part of the cycle at another work location of the same Employer, payment for the RDO applies on a pro-rata basis. The Employee is paid at the rate applicable under this Agreement for the proportion of time worked on this site when payment is made to the Employee in respect of their RDO. NEW EMPLOYEES A new Employee on site shall take the RDO and be paid a pro-rata payment for the prescribed RDO, calculated on the basis of 0.8 of an hour's pay for each day worked within the cycle and for each other day on which the Employee has been absent on paid leave. However, as provided by sub clause (a) of this clause, up to five (5) rostered days off may be accrued by agreement between the Employer and the Employee, and must be taken during the course of the job.

An employee who works for part of a nineteen (19) day cycle on the site (as defined in sub- clause (a) of this clause) and part of the cycle at another work location of the same employer, shall be entitled to receive payment at the rate applicable under this Enterprise Agreement for the proportion of time worked on the site when payment is made to such employee in respect of their rostered day off.   • Rostered Day Off 3.5.1 Any employee who by the circumstances of the arrangement of their ordinary hours of work is entitled to a rostered day off which falls on a public holiday prescribed by this clause shall, by mutual agreement, be paid for that day seven hours thirty six minutes at ordinary rates or have an additional day added to his/her annual leave, or shall be allowed to take the day off on an alternative weekday. Provided that where in the case of a shift worker the holiday on which he is rostered off falls on a Saturday or Sunday, this provision shall not apply.

  • Rostered Days Off 36.1 The ordinary working hours shall be worked in a 10 day/2 week cycle, Monday to Friday inclusive with eight hours worked on each of nine days within the cycle and with 0.8 of an hour on each of those days accruing toward the tenth day, which shall be taken as a paid day off. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.

  • School Calendar The Dual Credit course schedule will be determined by the location of the course delivery, provided that the required contact hours and prerequisites are met. The instructional calendar for the high school portion of the School will be based on the School District calendar and comply with all related TEA regulations for school attendance. The School District will adjust its schedule as necessary to enable Students to enroll in and attend the college- level courses provided by College. The School District and College will coordinate the State Student assessment requirements to ensure said assessments are administered without penalty. The School District, School and College will ensure that the School calendar accounts for the required per-semester contact hours for courses. When the instructional delivery is on the College site, it may be necessary for Students to attend classes on days when the School District is closed (e.g., different holiday closures). When Students take classes at the College scheduled on days when School is closed, the School District will ensure that at least one staff member with administrative authority be on call and available to be reached by the College’s Office of High School Programs or other College staff in case of emergency. The designated School staff member will have access to Student emergency contact information. While the College agrees to make scheduling accommodations for required State assessments, including the STAAR and End of Course Exams, all contact hour requirements must be met. For assessments not mandated by the State, the College and School District will come to a mutual agreement on administration dates in order to appropriately manage disruptions of college courses and ensure contact hour requirements are met.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.
