PRINCIPAL PERIOD OF MAINTENANCE (GENERAL). This section applies if software or Equipment will be a Deliverable under this Contract. Maintenance will be available nine (9) working hours per weekday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Travel time and expenses related to remedial and preventative maintenance will not be considered billable but will be included in the price of the maintenance. MAINTENANCE ACCESS (GENERAL). The section applies if any software or Equipment will be a Deliverable under this Contract. The State will provide the Contractor with reasonable access to the Deliverable to perform maintenance. All maintenance that requires the Deliverable to be inoperable must be performed outside the State’s customary working hours except when the Deliverable is already inoperable. Preventative or scheduled maintenance will be performed at mutually agreeable times, within the parameters of the manufacturer’s published schedule.

  • INTERIM MAINTENANCE PERIOD During the interim maintenance period between obtaining of the completion certificate of Project and formation and operationalization of the Association the Promoter shall through itself or through a facility management company constitute a committee to run, operate, manage and maintain the Common Areas.

  • Maintenance during Construction Period (i) During the Construction Period, the Contractor shall maintain, at its cost, the existing lane(s) of the Project Highway so that the traffic worthiness and safety thereof are at no time materially inferior as compared to their condition on Appointed Date, and shall undertake the necessary repair and maintenance works for this purpose; provided that the Contractor may, at its cost, interrupt and divert the flow of traffic if such interruption and diversion is necessary for the efficient progress of Works and conforms to Good Industry Practice; provided further that such interruption and diversion shall be undertaken by the Contractor only with the prior written approval of the Authority’s Engineer which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. For the avoidance of doubt, it is agreed that the Contractor shall at all times be responsible for ensuring safe operation of the Project Highway. It is further agreed that in the event the Project includes construction of a bypass or tunnel and realignment of the existing carriageway, the Contractor shall maintain the existing highway in such sections until the new Works are open to traffic.

  • Vehicle Maintenance (a) The Company agrees to maintain all vehicles up to standards which will insure that the employees who operate such vehicles are not exposed to such hazards as arise out of lack of proper maintenance. Each employee who operates a Company vehicle bears the direct responsibility for its safe and proper operation. Each such employee is also responsible for reporting any malfunction of equipment, mechanical defect, and any accident involving the vehicle.

  • Meal Period ‌ A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts or which provides for staggered lunch periods within a craft or trade. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.

  • Project Term The Project shall commence on the Signature Date, and shall endure for the Project Term.
