Procedural Requirement. No grievance shall be entertained except in accordance with the procedures specified in this Agreement. Failure by the grievant to adhere to these procedures within the specified time period shall render the grievance null and void. Failure of the appropriate administrative body to render a decision within the specified time period shall be construed to be a decision against the grievant and the grievance will advance to the next step.
Procedural Requirement. Any complaints regarding an employee made to a member of the administration by any parent, student, or other person, which does or may affect an employee, shall be processed according to the procedure outlined below.
Procedural Requirement. Any complaints regarding a teacher made to any member of the administration by any parent, student, or other person, which does or may influence evaluation of a teacher, shall be processed according to the procedure outlined below.
Procedural Requirement. Any complaint regarding an employee made to any member of the administration or board by any parent, student or patron that, in the opinion of the administration, is of such significance as to be reduced to writing by the administration, shall, within ten (10) days, be processed according to the procedure outlined below. Days shall be defined as days the District Office is open to the public.
Procedural Requirement. Any complaint regarding an employee made to any 651 member of the administration which does or may influence evaluation of the 652 employee or which may lead to a disciplinary action shall, within ten (10) days of 653 receipt of the complaint by an administrator, be processed according to this 654 procedure. 655
Procedural Requirement. Any complaints regarding an employee made to any member of the administration by a parent, guardian, student or other person which does or may influence evaluation of an employee shall be processed according to the procedure below. The complaint procedure cannot be exercised by an employee. The employee will process complaints through the negotiated grievance procedure.
Procedural Requirement. Any formal complaints regarding an employee made to any member of the administration by a student, parent or other person shall be reported to the employee within 5 days of occurrence.
Procedural Requirement. Any complaint regarding an Administrator should be resolved at as low a level and as informally as possible. The immediate superior should make every effort to ameliorate this problem. Failing in this, the complaint will be passed through the chain of command up to the Superintendent. If after failing to gain satisfaction, the complainant still desires to register a formal complaint with the Board, the Complainant may do so. The Administrator shall be given an opportunity to respond to and to rebut such complaints and shall have the right to be represented by the Association at any meetings or conferences regarding such complaint(s).
Procedural Requirement. Any complaints regarding a teacher made to any member of the administration by a parent, student, or other person which are used in the evaluation of the teacher in any manner, shall be brought to the teacher's attention. The teacher shall have the right to be represented by the Association and/or its designated representative at any meetings or conferences regarding such complaint. Complaints based on hearsay or received from anonymous sources shall summarily be disregarded.
Procedural Requirement. 1. Any complaint regarding a teacher made to any member of the administration or member(s) of the Board by a parent, student, or other person which may be used in any manner in evaluating the teacher shall be promptly investigated. However, prior to the investigation of the complaint, the employee involved will be advised of the nature of the complaint by the building administrator who will be responsible for scheduling conferences between the complainant and the teacher involved. All such complaints, except those which are unusual or emergency in nature, shall be directed through the Board's complaint procedure as per Board Policy. The Board agrees to remand all complaints through the policy procedure before any action is taken, except in the case of unusual circumstance or emergency. Should this complaint result in negative or derogatory materials being placed in the teacher's file, the teacher shall be given the opportunity to respond and meet with the person making the complaint. If the complainant refuses to meet with the employee, all references to the complaint shall be destroyed, unless the complainant’s refusal to participate in the meeting is protected under Federal Statute, Title VI & Title IX.
2. By request of the employee, he/she shall have the right to be represented by the association at any meeting or conference regarding such complaint.
