Process for Donation. To donate sick leave to the Bank, an eligible employee must complete a sick leave contribution form and submit the completed form to Human Resources.

Process for Donation. 14.13.3.1 All catastrophic leave donations are irrevocable. 14.13.3.2 Employees making catastrophic leave donations must maintain a balance of at least five (5) days of earned vacation after donation. 14.13.3.3 Excess catastrophic leave donations shall be maintained in the catastrophic leave bank for future use. 14.13.3.4 The Director of Human Resources will notify the CSEA President when CSEA employee catastrophic leave requests are received. CSEA will notify all eligible staff of the request for catastrophic leave donations.
Process for Donation. 1. To donate sick leave to the Bank, an eligible employee must complete a sick leave contribution form and submit the completed form to Human Resources. 2. Contributions must be made in whole hour increments and may not exceed eighty (80) total hours during the time the donor is employed by the District. 3. Donations, once made and processed by Human Resources are irrevocable. 4. Donations are not taxed to the donor and are not tax deductible. 5. Days donated are donated at the donor employee’s regular rate of pay.

  • Innovative Scheduling Schedules which are inconsistent with the Collective Agreement provisions may be developed in order to improve quality of working life, support continuity of resident care, ensure adequate staffing resources, and support cost-efficiency. The parties agree that such innovative schedules may be determined locally by the Home and the Union subject to the following principles: (a) Such schedules shall be established by mutual agreement of the Home and the Union; (b) These schedules may pertain to full-time and/or part-time employees; (c) The introduction of such schedules and trial periods, if any, shall be determined by the local parties. Such schedules may be discontinued by either party with notice as determined through local negotiations; (d) Upon written agreement of the Home and the Union, the parties may agree to amend collective agreement provisions to accommodate any innovative unit schedules; (e) It is understood and agreed that these arrangements are based on individual circumstances and each agreement is made on a without prejudice or precedent basis.
