Common use of Professional and Educational Leave Clause in Contracts

Professional and Educational Leave. Employees may be granted leave(s) of absence with pay to attend workshops, seminars and short courses, which may be deemed beneficial to the Employee’s professional development especially as it relates to her responsibilities. Selection shall be made on an equitable basis from Employees who make application to attend. Such permission shall not be unreasonably denied.
