Professional Dues and Conferences. The District encourages Xx. Xxxxx’x membership and participation in professional activities and shall pay for memberships in appropriate organizations, with the understanding that conference attendance is subject to budgetary constraints, reasonable expenses, and requires the prior approval of the immediate supervisor.

Professional Dues and Conferences. The Corporation will pay for the annual membership fee for the Superintendent for the Indiana Association of School Superintendents (IAPSS) and Indiana Association for School Business Officials (IASBO) for each year of the contract. In addition, the Board will pay or reimburse the Superintendent for appropriate business and professional expenses related to the Superintendent’s attendance at conferences, courses and other professional development activities.
Professional Dues and Conferences. The School Corporation will pay or reimburse the Superintendent for appropriate business and professional expenses in an amount up to four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) per school year for membership and participation in state and national professional associations and expenses related to the Superintendent’s attendance at conferences, courses and other professional development activities that aid in his continued professional growth and the performance of his duties.
Professional Dues and Conferences. Employer shall pay all reasonable travel, lodging, and entrance fees and costs associated with Employee’s attendance at conferences and seminars, as well as payment of annual dues levied by professional organizations and community affiliation costs that receive prior approval by Employer’s Board of Directors. Employer shall maintain its ACWA membership during the term of this Agreement.

  • Professional Conferences Professional conferences are those conferences sponsored by educational organizations, institutions of higher learning, and government and industry concerning teaching, learning and educational research. When a full-time or part-time faculty member’s attendance at a professional conference conflicts with his/her regular assignment, the faculty member must submit a request for attendance to the appropriate Xxxx, Director, or Supervisor. If granted, the attendance at the conference will be considered leave with pay, and a follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the following organizations: Nebraska Council of School Administrators (NCSA), The School Superintendents Association (AASA), and any other membership dues requested by the Superintendent and approved by the Board.

  • Labor Management Conferences The Union and the Employer mutually agree that in the interest of efficient management and harmonious employee relations, meetings shall be held between Union and Employer representatives when appropriate. Such meetings shall be scheduled within one week of either party submitting an agenda to the other, or at a time mutually agreed upon by the parties, and shall be limited to:

  • Professional Dress In as much as teachers are role models for students, each teacher shall maintain a neat, professional appearance appropriate for his/her specific teaching assignment.

  • SPECIAL CONFERENCES A. Special conferences for important matters will be arranged between the Union President and the Employer or its designated representative upon the request of either party. Such meetings shall be between at least two representatives of the Union and two representatives of management. Arrangements for such special conferences shall be made in advance and an agenda of the matters to be taken up at the meeting shall be presented at the time the conference is requested. Matters taken up in special conferences shall be confined to the agenda. Conferences shall be held between the hours of 9:00

  • Attendance at Conferences and Conventions (a) The parties to this Agreement recognize that attendance or participation at conferences, conventions, symposia, workshops and other gatherings of a similar nature contributes to the maintenance of high professional standards.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable.
